2007 Porsche 911

One sees an impressive line-up in the 2007 Porsche 911 stable, with the release of almost half a dozen new models in this series that join the current Carrera models.

Most notable amongst these are the GT3 RS and 911 GT3 coupes, the glass roofed 911 Targa 4, and the super-fast 911 Turbo coupes. This year sees a total of thirteen cars in this series, despite the disappearance of the 911 Turbo S, which has now been dropped.

The 2007 Porsche 911 has very little exterior trim and one look at any car in this series shouts out ‘speed machine’. Widely loved by sports car enthusiasts for decades, the 911 series also comes with the Porsche Active Suspension Management System that adjusts your shock absorbers automatically depending on the terrain as you are driving.

Though these cars can technically accommodate 4, they are built to seat 2 people comfortably, and the standard seats that come with these automobiles adjust in 6 directions, while power seats adjust in twelve.

2006 Porsche 911

After a complete do-over in 2005, the 2006 Porsche 911 got two new engines – a 3.6 liter V-6 that produces 325 hp for the Carrera and a more powerful 3.8 liter that can produce 355 hp for the Carrera S model.

The sports package is called the Sport Chrono Package Plus system that comes with a stop watch mounted on the dash. The 2006 model also sees the debut of the four-wheel drive Carrera 4 and 4S cabriolets and coupe models that come with two-tone color schemes for the interiors.

You can add other options like a tire pressure monitoring system, and an electronic log book. For those who love power, a power kit for Carrera S models is available to boost engine output to 381 horsepower.

Six airbags and four-disc anti-lock brakes are part of standard equipment. Anyone buying the 2006 Porsche 911 sports car surely deserves to have the best safety measures that are available for this high class vehicle.

2005 Porsche 911

The 2005 Porsche 911 is undoubtedly one of the most popular super sedans to hit the automobile market. In fact, the 911 has been extremely popular among auto enthusiasts, professional and amateur racers. The 2005 rectifies almost all of the drawbacks of earlier versions (dating back as early as the 1960s), making it a sports car that strives for perfection.

The 2005 Porsche 911 can power up to 60mph in just five seconds, thundering up a massive 325 horsepower, with 273 lb-ft maximum torque. An automatic rear spoiler activates at speeds above 75mph. Weight reduction (for the exhaust system, for example) ensures increased efficiency.

The 2005 Porsche 911 incorporates a number of earlier features like separate head and indicator lamps. However, the most important addition to its list of features is the PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) system to allow drivers to switch between normal and sports car modes, making the car as versatile as it is impressive.
